I've not been here much myself and have just caught up with this. Slow internet connections are a killer of spontaneity. Technology will catch up one day I hope. Good luck with your writing not that you need that from me. By that I really mean best of luck with your personal goals in writing.

Jazwolf, I was wondering where you had gotten to. It's Born Again Cringe -
aka Whinge.
I came back here because of people, because of the social network. I also came back because I was learning, because of people like you, and all the people you mentioned (except me).
I want to say thanks for that. It doesn't make me a writer by a long shot, nor do I really expect to be one, but it takes me one baby step further away from wannabe.
I hope you will keep in touch on your travels.

Jaz, I'll miss you...
But completely understand your frustration with bad tech. DO NOT stop writing. There's definitely some good stuff there, and I'd buy your book! :)pat

hello and good bye but not adieu.....
You summed up blogit very well. It took me a while to find out just what you said, but we all have to discover this for ourselves, don't we...
I am back into civilization after having a wild time, literally. So I hope to keep in touch. I will miss your wonderful blogs, full of little nuggets, humour, information, quirky observations about the English language.
I do hope to keep in touch somehow, it would be a shame to let the communications fizzle out into ether-not?
Will select a few pics to send you. I drove 800 kms in one day plus ferry crossing, so today I chilled out a little.
I hope you will check your comments before you "disappear", people do notice I believe but don't necessarily remark on it. It does make you wonder what sort of impact we have as human beings, and who wants to be forgotten? You have left a few imprints here and there, rest assured, and it is not just me, I am sure of that too, but you will never know the kind of impact you have on others, just know that you have made a very positive and entertaining contribution to blogit and also on a personal level.
Your character shines through your writing, whoever does not notice must be blind. You also came across as a great teacher with genuine heartfelt interest in his students and your passion for writing and the language is almots contagious, and I feel sure some of us here have caught the bug, if they did not already have it.
You will be missed by me and a few others, and I wish you all the best, and I hope you find a suitable internet connection that will work for you, not against you!
Many thanks for the wonderful reads here on blogit. I take the liberty of speaking on behalf of the little blogit community.
A la prochaine j'espere,
Marie-Claire.
