They get it too easy
Men know that they can show up for a date looking like hell and still get laid because some women whose standards are that low. You have to let him now that you are not such a woman. Will he move on to an easier target. Often, yes. But that's the only way to weed out the unworthy ones.

You know...
When I was single I met more men when I hadn't spent any time getting ready, just went out and had fun. My best friend and I always marveled at this fact. I think guys are onto something, though I agree it's irritating when they don't even shower before hand!

I think Rocky is on to something cause I have found intelligence to be a major factor...My ex is a nuclear engineer and man could he ever do it right....and still speak English..He's coming in next week to stay for a few days again. I needed that! The scientist couldn't make it on Saturday so I was disapointed. The CPA wants to meet later tonight, but he's already told me that he's a "Pleaser"...I'm scared to ask what that means ... LOL!

Don't get me started...whoops too late...I have solved that problem. If I take one look at a man and don't like the way he looks I am out of there. No more Mrs Nice Woman for me, I have turned into the bitch from hell...I will say that since I have turned this way I amgetting asked out a lot more and this guy I am having dinner with tomorrow night shaved his mustache cause I told him I don't do facial hair...can ya believe it, he actually shaved his mustache..Good thing cause there WOULD NOT be a kiss for the toad even if I just finished eating the best lobster...You are right, we do spend way too much time on ourselves getting ready but I think it's really important to look as good as ya can...Tomorrow night I am wearing a black sweater dress with black silk nylons and black heels...He better look good!!!!

no excuse for bad hygiene
If women would stop sleeping with men that won't take the simplest steps in civilized hygienics, then we could weed them out of the gene pool.
I can't even stand to let a little dirt creep under my fingernails, let alone go without a shower and clean clothes. My children can, Miss snottypants can go days without showering till we threaten to make her sleep in the garage.
Both her and Ms. Slug can wear the same clothes for days on end, I can't even make it to the night without changing after work, and before taking my sweetie out I have to shower and shave and throw on something smelly to make her melt when she gets close.
I may not be the snappiest dresser, cause I prefer comfort over elegance, but I gotta be clean it's the only thing that separates us from the scum.

Reminds me of one Valentine's Day
when I got all dressed up for a nice
dinner. My boyfriend showed up in basketball shorts and a
jersey...hungover. I still made him take me out to dinner, and
since he hadn't made reservations anywhere, we had to stand in line for

A very enjoyable and eye-opening write.
It reminds me of my heydays when I took my dream out for a date, thinking of netting BIG results.... when she shrieked from behind my mobike...smiling and snorting her nose in disgust....and asking when did I take my last bath? Since that day, I started taking daily showers even though there are no dates nowadays, LOL !!
