It only takes a second to hold the elevator door for the woman rushing to
it with her arms full....or giving up your seat on the sub to the older woman or man.... or letting the person with two items go before you to check out at the supermarket since your basket is full ..etc.... You still get that "helping your neighbor" feeling.

The best we can do is try, because some people refuse to be helped.
