Being honest with oneself is a very difficult thing to do. The way I came to understand what I thought of myself is by watching very closely what I thought of others. After all, it is merely a reflection.

I used to have a poor
self-image but I really believe that is beginning to change, and writing is definitely the catalyst. Thanks for your comment on my blog and have a great weekend.

I enjoyed this quote. I've been trying to develop this way of viewing myself (as simply my own opinion) as I've grown older
and now wear purple. I attempted to move beyond my own perceptions of myself in my youth, but couldn't move beyond a low physical self-image. I may have overcompensated my feelings of self-disatisfaction physically by building myself up astutely and professionally. (Yeah, I did). I believe the gift I've received in return for growing older is my
