yeah i remember the burning up
to a crisp.
the precepts are closer to the Bible than mainstream.
As I say, I believe that reincarnation fits the afterlife best. In fact, any reference to fire in the Bible is understood as a purging fire, not a punishing, and that when Paul refers to fire, he talks about a "man's works [being] tested, whether they be of straw or of stone" the man's works will be tested in the fire, but the man himself will survive. A bit of a paraphrase, but the idea is there. The fire is life and living.

Thank you, Ariala
I have done a couple other religions and hope to do more. The SDA was my favorite so far. Did I say I really liked the pastor?

Wow, you did an awesome job on that article! Excellent work and I'm sure
they were really happy with it, too.
I was raised Catholic and have been an Adventist since I was 17...You correctly identified the predominant beliefs of my faith. I really respect your work...thanks!

I also liked
I also liked their emphasis of taking care of one's body as care should be taken of a gift from God. One of my co-workers is SDA and introduced me to her pastor. We talked, the pastor and I, for almost two hours. The result was the piece I wrote at the end of the link in my blog here.

Yeah, one here...
They do burn, but until they are burn up...the consequences are eternal, not the burning...nice to read this post and glad to hear you talked with an SDA pastor.
