And a follow up on how they work out when two people finally meet.....

Could it be that the tend to work after meeting because you've had a chance to get to know the person first.....sight unseen.  It may be that knowing a person is much higher on the relationship scale than visual impressions......

Maybe that's what makes it so much easier to engage with more people on line like this.  It acts as our blinders, negating our personal hang-ups about someones appearance. What you don't know won't hurt some one else....so to speak.

There's nothing about 'good-looking' girls that turns me off, the husky-voiced one's?I just can't tell you WHAT! And, I'm 6, hairy, tanned, and therefore sometimes 'Banned'.

I really appreciate your point of view. And I DO agree. I fell in love with someone from Blogit bec of his words. His letters to me were so romantic and powerful. Then I met him and still loved him.

We had some insurmountable difficulties though and our relationship ended after 3 mos. But we're still very close.

We all judge on outer appearance

It is in our nature and what makes us unique. What puts me off the most are these skinny malinky woman who seem so malnorished that they have to be wary when walking along a beach in case they fall down a prawn hole. I like a bit of shape and muscle definement in a woman.

physical appearences

yes even though i dont like to admit it very willingly physical appearences matter to me. the person has to be tall..(so what if i am slightly plump)...has to have clean warm eyes nice soft hair which i can ruffle..and i should yearn to constantly touch him not have to because...!!!!!!

I agree about the hygiene thing Presley...

One of my pet peeves is going out with a guy when you know that you'll probably wind up back at his place for sex and the guy doesn't shower and put on clean clothes before the date.

Men are kind of bad about this.

My wife, Margie, wanted me to let you know she is in the hospital.  Going to have surgery tomorrow.  She has fluid around her heart.  She went in Monday evening.  They drained fluid around her lungs.  This however did not relieve the problem so  they searched further and found the aforementioned.  They are not sure of what has caused this situation, however, they are hoping they will find something positive when they go in.  They are sure they will drain and hope to be able to see what has caused all of this.  If not, not really sure where they will be going then.  Margie wanted me to keep you posted.  Hopes this answers why she hasn't been around lately.  Take care.

What I look at first is hygiene or the lacking of.  I'm turned off by people who are real sloppy and unkempt.  Do you know what I'm talking about?  Plus, if a person smells bad, well, you know - that's pretty gross.

but screw it, if it ain't built like a brick shit house, I ain't settin' foot inside.

I constantly chew my girls out for ridiculing everything they think is "different".  Still, I spend my time running around the world thinking 'who are all these aliens and what are they doing on my tv show'.

oh well, just for the record, I'm an average american 5'9 3/4 a little over two hundred pounds which is only about 40 pounds overweight, but I'm on two diets(can't get enough to eat on just one).

There are a ton of reasons that we pass over people who 'might' have made a difference in our lives, but the truth of the matter is, if that person comes along that's meant to flip your trigger, you'll have no choice but to respond like a monkee for a banana.
