- Go to I Have To Admit It... I'm Part of a Strange Group of People! Freaks!
Rachel
LOL! I always personally analyze people while standing in line waiting to pay. It's amazing the people you come across. Your post reminded me of a show I recently watched. The man and woman had 16 kids between them ranging from age 5 to 25. She homeschooled ALL of them and was very successful at it!

Rach
I love the idea of homeschooling kids...
My teachers ignored me when I was young.
Will they eventually go to public school when they get older?

Maybe you want some of my discounted non-Christian homeschool supplies...purchased prior to my realizing that the child was not going to listen to anything I said because, well, he never listens to anything I say. Okay that's not really true, but it became obvious that it would require too much effort from me to get him to do anything resembling schoolwork.

Where do you live, anyway? Amish Country?
All the homeschooling moms around business type pants suits!
Must be regional!

If and when Hayley goes to regular school,
you may want
to see about getting your teaching certificate.
I bet you would be great at it.

I agree Richinstore...
I finished my last three years of school in homeschool, though I did it all myself without a "teacher" through correspondence school. I finished a year early and learned more than I would have in the public school setting.
I believe that homeschool is right for some children and some families, but I don't believe that it is something that any family can and should undertake. It takes a lot of time and patience and creativity. I don't think the typical person has what it takes to follow through because it's easy to let days, weeks, even months go by without really taking the time out for education...
Thanks for your input!

RachelAnna,
there's nothing wrong to homeschool your children as long as they get proper guidance and get what they deserve.

well...of course it's wrong to judge a book by the cover.
