We need to pray for ourselves. In the garden of Gethsemeny Jesus did pray but his prayer was
"My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." Mt 26:39

Deep is a good name for you my friend, for faith lies deep in
your heart and soul. Never hesitate to express your thoughts, practices, etc., here! You are always welcome. Thank you for these words of wisdom, which are so true. We must pray for ourself as did Jesus. In fact on the night before He died, He prayed first for Himself. I do need however, to seek the prayer of others for myself. When others ask me to pray for them, I do not promise to pray
for them, but rather to
prayer with them. Unity in prayer calls Jesus into prayer with us, I believe. Blessings and joy today!

Good morning, Bhaskar! Yes patience is really a test of endurance!
He smiles upon us, watches over us, and waits with us for the Father's response! I feel His hand on my shoulder! Thank you my friend and blessings be with you.

Good morning, Odysseus, Thank you for your support and prayer.
The prayer of another is so important. Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in My name there I am in the midst of them." I believe when we pray in unity, Jesus joins His prayer with ours! Thus there is power in unified prayer. Bless you my friend!

I am no position nor do I have the right to comment on your mode of praying. But I thought I will share with you my thoughts. When you pray for yourself or for any self benefit, the web of connection to the Almighty is highly restricted. You become a stand alone system like a PC that is not connected to the net. But when we pray for a community or for others, unknown to you, the web of connectivity is increased multifold and through this web there is energy flow beyond compare to your own self. Prayerful blessings !!!

This is such a dear post. Yes Joseph paid a price, but God wanted him to be Israel and that was a costly blessing. You are a blessing.

For an evoved soul like yours, blesings themselves are kept in wait. It cannot but come, just a little while more. God is testing your patience, I think.

God will always bless you for your faithfulness in seeking His secret place. God's promises are there for us. Sometimes it takes us a bit of time and effort to claim them for ourselves.
