Bad wardrobe? Lack of power? Being thought of having more power than he has?  Being on the outs? No appreciation for his "ambition"?

Others perception of us is often vastly different from our own self perception. Even worse, is that sometimes our attributes – which are good and virtuous – are envied by other and thereby criticized. Ahh… humans… we’re a peculiar bunch.

I wrote this commentary last night and I'm sure it was better, but here goes -- it must have lost in cyberspace). I felt you wrote a biting commentary of the U.S. or the power structure in place in Washington, the industrialists and oilmen and bankers who are sending inferior weapons or under outfitting them  (similar to our own civil war when soldiers were getting cardboard  boots in the field -- while the government contracted company grew wealthy). You've put a legitimate spin on the great white Satan IMO.  Unfortunately, the ordinary American and the ordinary middle Eastern citiizen are collateral damage when the wings bat and flutter furiously in their attempt to fly. And when the dust settles, more harm has been done. And so it has been happening since before the time of computers and satellite spys.  Evil lives here amongst us, dressed not in black but in white.  The actions and evil intent deny what is truly desired. Lucifer is still his name.
