Cool. I'll get Sam's right to you. I remember his time of birth well. Thanks!

Avant..I just thought of something. If you'd like I can run your boys natal

astrological charts.  I have some excellent professional astrology software and it may give you some insight into your boys. All I need is date, place and time of birth.

Hi Avant...I am again between clients and I thought I'd check in on

Blogit.  This is a wonderful picture and I love your home. Did you get any snow yet? For us it is supposed to begin snowing tonight and continue on and off....Sat., Sun., and Mon. That's depressing because I was just beginning to spot a few inches of grass and dirt! LOL Have a great weekend and I'll be emailing you about Sam.

Yes, I've heard that, too. Have a great weekend yourself.

Thanks. I always dread the snow. I don't know how I'd handle lots of it. Perhaps, I would just give up and enjoy it.

A very lovely home Avant! My grandmother always said when
there is a reddish pink cloud it is going to snow. Yes she was often right! Thanks for the picture! Have a great week-end! faholo

I had to do that a couple of years ago. I was sweating in 20 degree weather with the wind blowing.

This weather is something else. Too much of one thing or another.

OFFBEATS
I've heard similar things from natives of this area. Things are getting warmer, that's for sure.

Snow is beautiful and magical, until it sits for awhile and starts getting brown and slushy. The ground stays saturated for days and it becomes tiresome.

I thought about that, too. But, the red is only where the smoke was. That's why I think it was some kind of refraction off the smoke particles.

Our yard is about 3 acres. We have almost 6. I have a zero-turn mower, and it still takes me 2-3 hours to mow it.

We use our wood heater a lot, and it does save money on electricity when it's very cold.

It's very peaceful here. I wish it were colder. It has turned colder recently, which is good.

Rumored
Well, this area usually gets quite a bit; but, this year it has been unusually warm. We got a mere dusting yesterday.

We're expecting 2-5 Inches of the stuff but it said to scrape the ice off the driveways and walkways prior, which is what we had for a month. It's finally starting to warm up, 30s, so you can chop it up and then shovel it.  fun fun

Avant -
No snow in our neck of the woods (in the desert anyway) - just rain, which we desperately need. But it is snowing on our property about 2 1/2 hours northwest of Phoenix.

Did you get the snow they predicted? We have only had a couple of snows this year and it seems to go away pretty fast....I can remember when it would snow in Dec and we wouldn't see the ground until March...I rather miss that~

I have never seen snowfall in my life, except in one hill-station. Wish I had a house..no two...one near the sea and another where snow falls.

Perhaps it's the watery sun too.. I remember those snow-laden skies, there's something about the way the light changes. Nice.

Nice.

Our home has a fireplace, but we've never used it. It's also on a hill, but the slope is in the back yard. It's one of the reasons I pay someone to mow the grass rather than doing it myself.
