RachelAnna,
Owie! I feel your pain, too. Aloe vera does help with razor burn, but most guys just don't "get" what a pain shaving half your body surface can be!
The only razor that works for me is the Gillette Sensor Exxel (or however you spell it). Definitely not the triple-blade ones though. Trouble is, I've got awful problems with ingrown hairs, and nothing seems to help. Anyone have ideas for that?

Thanks for the tips, Passionflower!
Yeah, I don't use those cheap razors anymore. I forget what brand mine is, but it cost more than a couple bucks.
I do put cream on afterward... Must have just been a fluke? The perfumes in the shaving cream could have done it, I suppose!

Even a new razor can cause razor burn--
Esp if it's one of those cheap throw-aways. Buy a better razor. Also, maybe your shaving cream had too much dye/perfumes, etc. Try using the one the Aveeno puts out.
Another thing: do you put any type of cream on your legs after shaving?

Well I heard
That when you get into your bath or shower you are supposed to let your shaving parts become very saturated before shaving..Then I also heard that you are supposed to apply lotion immediately afterwards. I feel your pain...It's happened to me in my armpits and dang did that look awful and felt worse!

OMG! I just googled the word waxing to find a funny picture to paste here. I couldn't find anything funny so I typed in the words hot wax ouch! The only thing that came up under that category was dirty, naughty, porno photos.

Yikes, Julia!
I got an electric one last year and didn't like it. It either didn't get the hair or it pulled it! Ouch! Apparently I have to choose between being furry, being painfully plucked, or suffering razor burn!!

I suppose you could help David, but it appears as though you'd have to team up with Mark! :)

Why does this happen? I've tried special shaving cream. I've tried baby soap. I've tried getting warm so all the goose bumps are gone before I shave. Nothing works! LOL!
