Comments on NO PROBLEM! JUST PUT YOURSELF ON AUTO-BLOG

Somehow I wasn't thinking of thoughtful advance planning
when I read your term "auto-blog."  I was thinking of some robotic system for excerpting a word here and a word there to set up an automated paragraph on days you don't sign in... And, not to point fingers or anything, but some bloggers seem to be flying on auto pilot, spitting out whatever idle thoughts cross their minds as it is.  My favorite reads are all written by people like you Joe, who come up with original ideas and surprise me. :)

couldn't agree more on this one - many times i've been in the middle of

an inspired post and had to quit mid-sentence.  what to do with the post?  yes, i could save it to my pc but for heavens sake, why can't blogit have a "save draft"?  or even just a "save" so i can avoid accidentally hitting the wrong button and - poof!- entry's gone!  yes, many bloggers write in their pc then transfer it over but i don't want that many steps/transfers.  this is a writing site.  i just want to plug in and write.

btw - i've started posting photos of my calendar dogs.  two pages of three dogs each so far.

Mr. Love....
You are introducing some really fresh ideas to Blogits members.......

I think it's a great idea......especially for someone that has to go on the road and winds up with really crappy dial up.  you could have them stored and drop one in when you wanted....the comments would still go on because dial up can handle the comment part pretty easily.

Keep em coming.....it makes one look forward to what you're going to introduce next!

A good Idea for those with the time
I'm always in catch up mode so I'm not sure it would work for me. I love the Bloggit model. I wonder what would happen if a slightly higher proportion of the funds came back to the writers. I'm sure Bloggit has the capacity to achieve exponential growth and more money for all, it just needs a little tweaking, the wrong kind however will break it.

Joe Love
Auto-blog would be beneficial in many ways.  I don't have time to post much during the week (I do most my posting on the weekend) so being able to delay-post would help in this area, as well!

I must say
that I do like preparing posts in draft on other blogging platforms. I did have an enhanced subscription on Blogit at one time but didn't make use of the extra blog availability. Thanks for your comment on my post.

I have decided that you, Joe Love, are a blogging genius...a computer guru!

OH excellent idea Joe!!!

I also think if they allowed people to read for free but not be able to comment, etc... it might bring in more subscribers as well.

I have noticed blogit ad's and they target writers versus bloggers as well which I think is a bad idea.  Yes, some of us consider ourselves writers, want to be writers, live to be writers but some folks would prefer to just blog without feeling like they are an outsider in a writer's community.

Also we have some fantastic photo blogs and I see them all over the net, yet I have never seen an ad for photo bloggers either.  I think blogit needs to expand their thinking and their target audience/subscriber.

Just my .02 on the manner.  I really like the idea of auto blogging.

Joe--Are you serious with this??
I can say without question that I'd never pay extra for auto blogger. Heck, I wouldn't even use it if it were free!! Taking away the interactivity would kill the fun (for me). Posting while on vacation and not being able to read the comments, and then having to catch up when I returned? No thanks! I do write posts and store them in a file on my computer, sometimes out of season ones too. It's not hard to keep them around and use them when I want to!

Well, I'll be curious to see if other bloggers like the idea of auto blogging. Maybe I'm just a freak? LOL.
