King's mountaintop speech was prophetic; he knew his time was drawing near. Yet he didn't let violence or the pressure to use force (i.e. Blank Panther) to win rights. Yes, holder of the lamb, of peace, our Neil, would have a strong admiration of such a man, so much after the makings of Gandhi. A great man; I cried when Bobby was shot but I also cried that year for MLK. It was only when I taught students about his greatness, and his love for peace, that I really knew why I felt such sorrow at his passing when I was their age.
