I agree about that Lustor...
Some aren't even meant to be friends...at least Richard and I are friends. Sorry to hear about your bad marriage/divorce.

I had it too, until my man took the leap as it must not of been that ideal to him.  It was for me as I didnt work for 20 years, but I raised my two kids and took care of the house.  Who knows some people arent meant to be married

Any time you catch an Ass Clown on the loose
Call your local Clown Police Immediately.

Life is for living

However you do it, that's your thing.  I have found that only I can make me happy and it's never anyone else's job to do that for me.

I also think that people who think it's their lot in life to pass judgement on others are the fools who can't trust their own hearts to make the right choices.  They need some kook from the dark ages who scribble some notes in a book that just happened to avoid destruction, so it must be the only way to live your life, right?

After all, if you're free to make those kind of decisions, then they might have to also and they just don't trust themselves to know what's good for them.

That's why they're ass clowns.

OneTime...Yeah, I know but they rarely do...
They usually feel a strong need to point out whatever you're doing wrong...That group of people will always be with us.

Passioflower

You weren't looking for fame and you saved your soul with creativity luv.

You did the right thing and it is tough to do, I did it too years and years ago.

I found love and as you know she died, and that life we had was worth all the pain.

You will fully recognize that you did the right thing when He directs you to it, and He will certainly do that.

Keep the faith, you are loved, and life will work out for you my dear friend.

Thank you for that OneTime...

People tend to be harsh and judgemental toward you if you divorce without what THEY consider "a good reason."

Esp Christians. They don't understand I guess.

Passion flower.. just my 2 cents..
I believe that happiness is not something we do. It is a feeling. I could no more "feel" happy with my ex than I could live without air. You seem like a very grounded, well pulled together person.. you deserve to have feelings that are your own.. not pretend or forced emotions.

In your case, I almost agree Offbeat.
I know you well enough to say that you dont  seem to "Need" a man in most of the areas where other women DO need one.

Passion
I think there are pro's and con's to everything...I do know that personally I wouldn't want to be stuck in a yuck marriage just to have someone with me. I can better manage my own misery without a man around. Yeah I had the American Dream and still do, but somehow I think it might have to be done solo....
