Interesting post. I think most of us knew that policy would backfire. The only question was, when?
Go ahead and call me crazy, but I have an inkling that the Chinese government was forcing a higher male population for a reason: They were breeding an army of men without wives or families to "tie them down" or "distract" them.
Just a hunch, and I know it sounds nuts. But it will be interesting to see how the Chinese population "crisis" unfolds.
