One of the very few things that i hate about living in Spain is the sparse, rotten ISPs.

There's very little choice, it's expensive and damned unreliable.

I think that on average I lose my connection for about two hours three or four days a week. Always in the evening .. blogging time!!!! Comes back on when it's time for old dudes to git ter bed.

I get very cranky when my ISP goes down.

I love a poem I can understand.

I think your blogit mates love you in a blogit sort of way! ? from a distance.

Anyway to hell with what anyone may say after we are gone. I've had a neck full of some of my so called nearest & dearest & if they don't want to remember me with fond love I'll be too busy sleeping the deep sleep to care!

It seems this poem came from your heart
And that makes it that more special

Of course you are correct ; it is more important to be loveable in life, rather than in memory.

In fact it's almost as important as spending all your money before you go, so you don't have to see them from up there ( or down there )wasting it on luxuries like houses, food and doormats.

Only jokin'! I do see what you mean, and agree wholeheartedly.

Ariel
It’s true that we all wonder what people (our loved ones) might say or think when we’re gone and yes.., two strangers may find themselves bonded by the love or admiration they had for us. Although I’m not disputing this is a wonderful poem, I think the impressions we leave – the imprints we make on people’s hearts – while we’re alive should be first and foremost in our mind.

Lovelylady

Duh! Just had a comment to you wiped out! Damned Blogit!

Thanks for calling in, and your lovely comment. I don't feel all that fit at the moment, so don't spend as long in here as I would like.

And I don't reciprocate, by reading you as much as I would like too.

Sin embargo, manana? no se, pero espero!

Thanks for dropping in. I'm glad you like it.

I must admit that I can't really relate to much modern poetry ; a lot of it's over my head, really. But there, I guess most other people do, and maybe that's why so few read my poetry.

In my poetry, I much prefer to tell a story in plain language, that any child could understand.
