Remaining faithful is incredibly easy for me. I simply refuse to do it. Yes, I still find women attractive, but distant admiration is all I need. I have what I want. The idea of cheating on my wife falls in the same category as bungee jumping, playing Russian roulette, and shooting heroin. Yes, it could possibly be exciting and thrilling, but the risk is simply too great. Cheating is the ultimately sign of unhappiness in a relationship. If a person is completely happy in a relationship (note, a happy relationship can be achieved, but a perfect one doesn't exist), there's no need to search for something with someone else.

Thanks Norseman
I agree about the "bad behavior" idea...so true. I'm sure there is a good one out there for me. I have no choice but to believe that because losing hope is not an option.

Redscribe...

I enjoyed this.  Lots of people would like answers to these questions, they are however...elusive.  My personal opinion is that it is entirely possible for a man to be faithful.  He has merely to make that choice, and follow through.  Sounds simple enough right?  Part of the problem in our society is that people tend to treat the male gender as an excuse in itself, the whole "boys will be boys" thing.  I say that's BS.  Being male should never be an excuse for bad behavior.

That being said...I don't necesarily think that humans were designed to be monogomous forever.  I think it goes against our nature a bit but that is irrelevant because we as an intelligent people have decided to create a society where monogamy is the goal.  So be it, our intellect will prevail if we want it to.
