YP -
I haven't heard much about Burke since Western Civ class. It's a class I think I would gain much more from now than when I was a mere 19. I think the people in this parade should have dressed up. My aunt was cared for her last 4 years in a Quaker retirement home in CA. They were wonderful to her. Your comment that the Puritans were no better in their intolerance once freed from their shackles was/is an excellent parallel to today's situation in Iraq. Isn't it so true? My son is 23 and of age yet to be drafted. It is a fearsome thought although the president hasn't proposed such a thing,
yet. Maybe if we saw his two daughters on the front line in harm's way, I would change my tune.
It's so good to have you back, my friend. and I would never doubt you wrote this article for Wickedpedia- Wickenpedia - (I can only think of the silly name for it) - you are a good writer. Just get you and Bhaskar going after the philosophy of religion, and I am sitting here slackjawwed.
Blessings to you!
