Right now I don't have a whole lot to be thankful for but I still try to say thanks. It feels important to do that -

Some days and some things and some people, even though I don't really mean to, I know I just take for granted.  Some days I forget to be grateful until I am suddenly reminded by something.   Nice poem!

Whysper...I know it sounds upside down to you

But I can make it fine without LOVE and have been doing that most of my life. I DO, however, require LARGE amounts of intense sex to fuel me.

live life with out sex is so cool, because you feel free as an innocent kid

it's just fun to be free like that with a lot of dreams...

I can live without sex

but a life without love, is hardly one I'd care to participate in.

Still, I understand how people become reluctant to love again.

Whysper...I dont give my heart away anymore...

It got broken too badly last time. Now I guard it with all my might. What I always tell people (men) is:

"You can get into my panties but not into my heart."

That philosophy has been working well for me..

Maggie, I guess you're right...I'm sort of glad for the time I've had

To do some soul-searching....I think I'm over being bitter and angry but who knows? I wish I could understand why certain things happen.

Passion....

This post makes me sad because I remember how happy you were then and know how much you miss it.  You're not the same Passion as you were then.  Your heart is bitter and you are angry for the change.  I hope we will see you happy again, as you were then. 

You're right, we sometimes aren't appreciative of what we've got till it's gone.   I know I forget sometimes how fortunate I am, in spite of my situation, I've still got a lot to be thankful for.  You just reminded me.

I love your poem.
