Jacenta......
You are determined, girl! Those exercises probably hurt, but I'm sure they're going to do the trick. I'm glad to hear it's not arthritis, but it sure sounds the same, don't it? I hope all you're doing works out for you. If we were together, we could exercise and be a support for each other. Wouldn't that be great. I think that's what I need, someone to do it with me.
Keep it up, jacenta!

I got the video of Baby! Wow, what a baby hahaha
You're getting pretty good at that, aren't you?

Well, I've got to start dinner for the man of the house. hahaha I'll talk to you later. {{{{{hugs}}}}}

MaggieMae....
Maggie, that is what is funny. With all the pain in my knees I felt for certain it was arthritis, but when the doctor examined my knees and took xrays he said I do not have arthritis in my knees. He said that my back leg muscles are so weak that the muscles allow my knee joint to slip out which causes bone to bone friction. He specified I should do 30 reps X 2 a day of this exercise he showed me while I was reclined on the examination bed. I asked if it would work to use an exercise bike and he said yes, as long as I straighten my legs out all the way straight. So I put the seat of the bike way the heck up as high as it will go, so my legs straighten with each full pedal turn. I'm trying, aren't I sweet Maggie?
Sleep well Maggie and I hope you enjoy your new video!!!!

Oh, jacenta....
I haven't checked my mail tonight. I will before I go to bed and get back to you tomorrow.
That's great that you're going to work out on your exercise bike; however, jacenta, I think it will serve to strengthen your legs, but I'm not sure it's going to help the arthritis in your knees. If there's a way, you should see an orthropedic doctor and maybe have some shots into your knees to help with the pain. You know I've been through it this past year and I know how it hurts. You know what's inevitable. I'm sorry. My knee replacement is finally beginning to work out. It's taken almost a year, but I feel it was worth it. Good luck, Sweetie, with whatever you do.

Thank you for your visit. I would love to do some yoga exercises, I used to do them all the time. Unfortunately, now I'm an above-the-knee amputee and I can't. That was a good thought though.

MaggieMae...
Maggie, am I a good girl? I dragged my exercise bike into the house and landed it in the kitchen and then Hubby helped me take it into the spare room. I worked it three times today and two times yesterday. Maybe, I'll burn up a few calories, ya think? I am really trying to strengthen my leg muscles, because a surgeon that checked out my knees and took xrays said that if I don't strengthen my leg muscles, I'll end up having surgery on my knees, because they are rubbing bone to bone. It hurts, MaggieMae. Anyway, now that I read your poem, I'm hungry! Ha-Ha. Be safe, sweet Maggie and I'll talk to you again soon.
ps. Were you able to view the "Baby" video I sent you? I hope so.

The holiday pounds are a "harsh" reminder. hahaha

I've got a lot of work to do. I can't blame it on the holidays. It's been coming on since I had my knee replaced. I've been in this wheelchair and walking was difficult. It still is, but I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get some of it off. Got any ideas?

I'm trying to diet, but do you know how hard it is being a diabetic and having to cook for your husband? It's tough! I'm also trying to exercise, I have a machine and I'm trying to work out on it, but don't you know, I hate it. hahaha Oh, well!
It would be a dull world if we were all the same. Take care, TAPS~. I hope all works out for your grandson.
