Thanks for your feedback as to from where you are approaching your theology. I am a great admirer of Summa Theologica. Blessings

The part I had difficulty with was "But coming to terms with oneself involves recognizing that we are not God. Rather, we are only instruments of a larger cosmological force that is God!". Though I have had a catholic education and studied the scriptures, for me the deeper meaning of the scriptures and endorsement from other streams of thought, such as vendantic, have always prompted me towards deeper seeking. When Jesus says 'I and the Father are one" he endorses the Adviatic philosophy of vedanta. I was only pointing to a Eastern view. Thank you

I so thoroughly enjoyed reading that I quite forgot that I have to be in the hospital to bring home my uncle who is being discharged today. He is fine now and so am I. I will catch up with my pending reads properly from tomorrow, after I get a good sleep. Great work on Advaita.

Hi Deepandana! This is an interesting post! My philosophy
is centered in Aristotelian philosophy which is empirical or practical thinking rather than abstract, speculative or idealistic. I follow his method of deductive logic, which is characterised by syllogism, in my search for Truth/God. My Theology stems from training in Thomistic Theology and my spirituality is Dominican in character. Just thought you might be interested in where I come from. Your way is different, but we are both walking in the right direction for each of us! Blessings! faholo

Deepananda….the last part of my post was Biblical scripture.
Was that the part that you had difficulty accepting?   My post was not intended to be “denominational”, even though it did include a quotation from a sacred text.
