Hey! That's true!
Odd! I don't mind cleaning the shower if I don't have to do it too often.

I'm going nuts with this...I wonder if it's possible to reverse the pattern with training...something to do in my quiet hours!

Whacky if you get a chance, I would definitely recommend it.
Excellent and thought provoking movie and definitely a great example of courage and perseverence against great odds.

Gee my foot and hand must be connected!
How was the movie?

Ahhhhh, babe, don't you love some of that romantic, schmalzy stuff?
It just warms the collywobbles.

Offbeats, see the note I left for JUlia. The same must apply to YOU!

Mmmmmm, Ariel70, I do love Dvorak (sp??)
yes, sir, you have good taste in music!  And regarding Casals, thanks for that history lesson.  I would like to learn more about him. I certainly enjoy listening to him (I currently have more of his Bach Suites on right now!).

Julia, think that means you would be able to defeat a lie detector test

too???

This Dr Mercola (who comes across as being extremely self confident and all knowing) insists it is humanly impossible to do anything but change direction when drawing in the air the number six.  So . . . . you must be able to achieve the impossible!

Presley, so sorry to distract you from whatever you were doing!!!
Regarding the movie, it was wonderful!  I would recommend it to all.  Talk about overcoming in spite of extreme adversity -- it is a fantastic movie.  Thanks for stopping by!

I rotate household tasks so that I don't get too bored with any one of them.  I just purchased one of my old vinyl records in CD form that is fun to work to, The Violin (I think that's the name of it) by Aaron Rosand.  Romantic, schmaltzy Fritz Kreisler stuff.

Jane's

Did you by any chance play that emperor of cello concertos, the Dvorak?

I have a 1938 vynil record of it, performed by Pablo Casals with the Czech Philarmonic Orchestra, under Brastislav Bakala.

This was one of the last performaces of this orchestra before the Nazis invaded Czechoslovakia.

As you may know, Casals left Spain, vowing never to return until Fascism was ended there, and here he was having to flee Czechoslovakia too.

His is the most powerful, raw, evocative performance of this, the most magnificent cello concerto that has ever been written.

I like, and share, your taste in music.

haha, I did try that experiment but it didn't work for me,
my foot just kept going in the same direction!! Hmmm, I wonder what that means?

Janes

Do you realize how many people have stopped blogging to do your experiment?  Self included?  LOL!!!!!!  I'm right handed.  When I turn my right foot clockwise and trace a 6 with my right hand, my foot starts moving counter clockwise.  But, if I move my left foot clockwise and trace a 6 with my right hand, my left foot keeps going clockwise.

Then I tried focusing real hard on keeping my right foot moving clockwise and put my right hand in the air to trace a 6 and realized by focusing so hard no keeping my foot going that my hand was tracing the #6 backward!  This has been a blast!  Hope you enjoyed the moving.  I'm thinking it's The Pursuit of Happiness!
