- Go to Bad Memories Take This Blogger By Surprise
aw, Decshak!
That is a bummer. It stinks when you experience this recall because it seems like you cannot turn it off, that you are forced to sit there and be hurt again.

That same thing happened to me this morning. I don't know how the memory
was triggered, but suddently I had to watch as my brain replayed a love affair that suddenly ended when the guy had to move to a different town and I couldn't afford to quit my job and go with him. Suddenly he was not cooperating with me and he was finding ways to make me angry or to put me down. Not a good feeling....

I wish there was a switch to turn off memories like that!
Take care.

Hi Rach - I think that often people react in certain ways without realizing
the harm or frustration they are causing others. Often people speak out only from a perspective of how they are feeling at the moment, totally oblivious to the impacts they are having on others. This is not an unusual thing and is, in fact, quite common in human affairs. I think they probably hurt you more than they intended to, if in fact, they had intentions to that end, at all.
