Thank you, Pat B
I appreciate your good wishes and I'm sure my new grandchild will be a beautiful child who arrives closer to his due date.  My daughter-in-law is still in some discomfort and it may be touch-and-go for a while, but it appears she made it to the hospital on time to avoid giving birth a month and a half early.  My first two grandchildren were two of the three most beautiful babies I've ever seen.  My son was the third.  It could be that I'm a little prejudiced in that judgment.

Nice day! I love stories like this one.
Hope your new grandchild arrives healthy and in beauty like the rose...

Thanks, Odysseus
Your kind words and your prayers are much appreciated.  Words of comfort and good cheer always help.

I guess basketball is one of those almost universal father/son activities.
Kinda hard to find anything better to do on a moments notice.   My prayers are with you for a continuous and blessed relationship with your son and for your daughter-in-law during her pregnancy.   Blessings.

It was, SuccessWarrior
It helped make my whole life worthwhile.  I hope you have many days like it when you're a grandfather.

Sounds like a great day.
I hope I can do the same with my son when he has a son.  Thank you for sharing.
