LOL Whysper...I'll try to remember that!

As with chocolate

The words 'too much' should never precede the word 'champagne', at least in that order.

I do hope your new year brings you more than you put into it.

LMAO Whysper...well, you're the first person to wish me that!!

I'm glad your evening was fun.  The recipe you mentioned about the pudding, graham crackers, and chocolate icing...my mother makes that but for the life of me, I can't remember what she calls it!  It's simply Heaven on the tongue!

Could someone fetch me a drink?  I'm getting thirsty!

Passion:  my New Year's was quiet except for the laughter of the girls as we watched Over the Hedge.  The 7-year old didn't make it to midnight.  Just my 12-year old.  My husband and I drank a glass of wine after midnight then called it quits.

I sat on the couch and watched the ball drop. WHOO-HOO!!!

posted by shelly_b on January 1, 2007 at 12:19 PM | link to this | reply

Corbin...sounds very restful...

Guess if you've ever seen the "Big Ball" drop, then you pretty much know what happened...LOL!!!

Alot of people dressed up. They drank too much on their way to Time Square. Then they drank more, passed around some joints and made outwith each other while waiting for the Big Ball to drop.

Then they kissed people, laughed, drank and staggered to the nearest cafe for eggs, bacon and coffee.

LMAO Troosha...I've been feeling pretty crappy too all day...

LOL Bhaskar...That's about the way my evening went...
You must be clairvoyant...lol!!!

posted by Passionflower on January 1, 2007 at 11:03 AM | link to this | reply

Here's one from me Passion
The proper behavior all through the holiday season is to be drunk. This drunkenness culminates on New Year's Eve, when you get so drunk you kiss the person you're married to.

posted by Bhaskar.ing on January 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM | link to this | reply

Okay Bhaskar...sounds great...
I can't wait to read you...we all need all the help we can get to live our best life.

posted by Passionflower on January 1, 2007 at 10:56 AM | link to this | reply

Watch my words. You will be blessed this year. Tell me if you don't.

posted by Bhaskar.ing on January 1, 2007 at 10:28 AM | link to this | reply

That brings up another sore spot for me Bhaskar...

2006 wasn't a good year in terms of my love life...I practically didn't have one unless you count my ex-husband...He's a wondeful man but I'd just as soon not ever have to have sex with him again.

I'm a survivor though. I'll do whatever I have to do to make it. I'm praying for a much better job so I can support myself plus my own apt. That would make it a lovely new year if I could financially take care of myself once again.

Sounds like you had a really good time.   I probably shouldn't eat pork, but who can turn down all the tasty things that can be done with it.  That reminds me, Its been a long time since I've had my cholesterol level checked.  LOL

Hi, Passion......

Well, we didn't go out last night.  We stayed home and watched a movie and were in bed before they dropped the ball.  We're home bodies.

Today, the house reeks of sauerkraut and pork.  I made a nice Ambrosia Salad (my family loves it) and all that's left are the mashed potatoes and other veggies.  My family will be here again and it's going to be a good day.

I hope you're having a good day, Sweetie, and again, Happy New Year.
