Oh Maggie...it sounds like a fabulous DAY!!

All those wonderful friends and family...delicious food...There's nothing better.

Thanks for checking in on me...Yes, Christmas is a melancholy, lonely time for some of us. I enjoy reading about your Christmas though. TAPS wrote some pleasant things about hers too.

I guess we'll have to forget about our girlish figure for a week or two, eh???

Hi, Passion, it's your biggest fan.  lol  I've had a big day, but all of the kids have gone home and it's just hubby and me now.  It was great having the kids here and they all seemed to have a good time.  My daughter took that picture of me and the little ones, but she has to send it to me before I can send it your way.  She took the picture of me and the 5 kids in front of my fireplace. 

It sounds as though you've really been reminiscing (you shouldn't drive with your eyes closed  lol).   I got a fleece blanket that makes into a robe and it's for me to watch TV in my living room.  It gets cold in there.  I got a vest, a blouse, a lighted paperweight, it has an angel in it.  My neighbor on one side brought us a nice bunch of yummy breads she made and they have little smuckers jellys with them.  It's very nice.  The neighbor on the other side brought us a can of cashew nuts.  How is one to lose weight??  Oh yeah, I got a fancy eyeglasses holder (one of those gifts I'll never use) and my sister brought me a glass thing  (looks like a tombstone) with a sister verse on it that reads very nice.  I wasn't prepared for her to drop by and I had no gift for her.  I hate that.  I was just glad to see her, it's been months since she's come to visit me.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas...sounds like you did! John came over and we had dinner with the family...He is so sweet. The family loves him. He bought me my favorite perfune Shalimar....and now I feel fat and tired..Plus my COWBOYS are losing...
