I agree...
Obviously the boyfriend wasn't very supportive. It just shows that our children should give into selfish demands rather than finding a supportive partner who will love them. I find it annoying too!!

I don't know that we can always have both but I do believe that with a bit of effort we can have at least SOME of both. it just distrubs me when I look at my daughter who wants both a family and a career that someone might tell her that she can only have one or the other.

This is well written and subject covered beautifully. I don't know if I believe you can always pursue your dream and have the dream love life. But adjustments can be made in both, I think. But that is only my opinion.
