The 'poor' refers to the economy of the two states. I wanted to use my computer to tape, but we were sitting around very low tables, so I just put my notebook on my lap and took notes. I will give these to the Packard management for their use and future designs of their programmes. Journalists in India are not too interested in following up on what I call "good news development stories". They and their newspapers are mostly into frivilous and bad news. Thanks for your feedback!

you have some interesting posts here greenfields. this latest bit of
work you've done where you mention the poor working conditions - are you referring to factory workers? how many journalists write follow-up reports and do you collaborate or does a board accept reports from various writers? do you use a tape recorder to tape the meetings?
