no, you chose characters as embodiment of the theme.

some type of characterisation, or something like that. I have another theme on my mind....ummm, dare I say this, is big brother watching me. it is called " la folie à deux" translate at your leisure, of course, you are not to take this personally, but this is a take off and spoof of the foolishness of the French.

I dare not "relax" yet, just in case. (I entertained some French tourists, recently; this yound French couple was stranded in the middle of nowhere with their backpack, trying to hitch a ride so I took pity on them). They turned out to be French, and virtual neighbours of mine - near where I used to live - South of Britanny. Sometimes, some coincidences can be happy ones. Still, I choose to remain trusting, up to a point, of course.

I would like to point out, that I am sprinkling commas and full stops more liberally nowadays. They tend to fall where they please, but that is a start. I even use the luxury of paragraphs and semi-colons; a complete novelty to me. It is like trying a new toy! (If it was a gun though, I would advise you to keep out of range, just in case....).

I just sunburnt today, a beach birthday party for my daughter Jasmine who turned 20. I appointed myself as the unofficial photographer, being the trigger happy shooter that I am...Now, I have to print them, but I am on holiday for 6 weeks, poor me!

Marie-Claire--- Glad to hear it. No, the theme doesn't need to be narrowed
down. Rather, you should focus on specific characters/situations that incorporate these themes.  In other words, narrow focus on broad themes of love and conflict. Have I confused you?

ummm. true, but the theme needs to be narrowed down.
"All quiet on the Western front"...so far so good, if you know what I mean.
