yes,  I do watch Keeping Up Appearances too, and Benny Hill, and Only Fools and Horses, AND The Vicar of Dibvley. I'm happily stuck in times past.

You're right about remote controls.  It seems each new televison, vcr, dvd, etc comes out with a new generation of remote controls that is more confusing than the last.  I find myself in the same quandry that you have described.

By the way. . , I love Ab-Fab, too.  Do you watch Keeping Up Appearances also??

Tanga,
thanks for stopping by - you have the dubious distinction of being the only commentator..! I wouldn't be able to manage without at least one offspring showing me how easy it is.. well, I could if I had to, but it really is their world now.
Nice to know I'm not the only one, along with Mrs T.

Nice post and lots to comment on

Firstly, Zambia has no shopping malls with indoor or underground parking and not much parking outside for that matter. It is great having a 4x4 because then you can just park on the pavement. I remember the malls in South Africa, I would also look for the shops on the floor I parked on. I think they also have colour codes, so now I also Know.

Secondly, Mrs T also has a hard time with the remote at times.

And thirdly, British humour is a very good laugh. My favourite form of humour. You have to listen so carefully just in case you miss some of the wit.
