- Go to Gun-Toting Teachers In Nevada?
It doesn't take a lot, 1TimeSoldier. For instance, that young man who went
to school in Michigan today and shot his girlfriend four times before killing himself. Senseless... And that boy who shot himself in band hall down in Texas... It begins this time every year now, like clockwork. It's as if Spring brings out the hormones and the guns...

My heart breaks over the thought that our young people are killers!!
and I know so many have been killed by their peers. I have such a heart for teens. As a mother of a 16yo son, I know what loving hearts most of these young people have. That being said, I also know it only takes one bad apple to upset the whole cart. May God enable us to protect our children.

But it has come to this, 1Time Soldier. When it has become socially
acceptable to THINK about and propose legislation to arm the teachers, then how bad have our schools really gotten...?

Agreed, Corbin. Nothing like a mini-arms race inside the nation's school
system...

Scary stuff....especially considering that would mean the students could get the guns away from the teachers.....or the students would feel a compelling need to upgrade their current armament......an escalation of weaponry.
Very bad idea.....
