I know lots of straight actors play gay characters, nowadays, but
according to my sources, John Stamos is being harassed for playing this role. I think that that is nuts, but it is reality we live in. Standing up for principals means something in my book. Go John!!

Um, I'm confused ... tons of straight actors have played gay characters in movies or on tv.
For instance, Tom Hanks in "Philadelphia", Eric McCormack on "Will & Grace", Robin Williams in "The Bird Cage", Matt Damon in "The Talented Mr. Ripley", etc., etc.
Not to mention that Felicity Huffman even played a gay man in "TransAmerica"
So what's so special about John Stamos?
