Deepananda -
As Jesus the Christ said, "I and the Father are One." We sleep too deeply to realize this is true of all of us. When we are blessed by awakening, we realize this too, as this Sufi saint did.

Dear Bhaskar
Only when something deep down in my psyche stirs as I read a post I write and comment. Regarding my post I have so many things in a day, especially as I am actively involved in projects in the social sector (Microfinance & Education), my plan is to do atleast two posts every week. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

What a picture of Advaita - One Witout a Second. Sufis espouse their God in the most personalized way, "Yaar", - a friend, and the self as a beloved (female), as in Yaar ko hamne jaa* bajaa* dekha - I am seeing my God as I am seing you my friend, and then they suddenly go off to the heights of incomparable similes, that enraptures one in pure delight, in a sort of 'coital' (simultaneously Platonic)cathartic experience. For them, then on the lover and the beloved both become one, leaving Love as One. I love their songs but cannot get the exact meaning of quite a no. of words, but even then the experience is a pure delight.
You are conspicuous by your absence. Do desire to see you more often.
