I had a blog in Travel for a while after the category was first introduced. I was disappointed in it then. After a promising start there was little subsequent interest in it. Most new bloggers seem to gravitate to the heavily populated categories after a while. If they don't give up entirely.

the 3 categories you have chosen
do seem to have the most readers. I've tried browsing the Travel category thinking it might offer me some travel tips but I was disappointed. Stick with what works, I say.
