The door on this was closed a very long time ago, it won't be reopened. I appreciate your concern but there is no way I would bring a child into this world with a father that could end up in a combat zone and a mother that really doesn't want it. I agree children change you but they don't have be biological to create that change.

I don't think that biology is all that it takes to make a parent, Pam is the spitting image of me to the point that her bus driver almost fell over when she found out that I am not her bio mom, she also has much of my personality. I have zero desire to give birth nor do I feel that I have been denied children, mine just came in a different way.

I am unique as a parent but Pam seems to do OK. I really never had the desire to have kids but always ended up with kids anyway...I suspect it turned out just as it was meant to be.

LOL you don't remember my raccoon stories over the summer Shelly?
I used to feed the cats that the neighbor abandoned. The cats have found homes...one in my home. But the raccoons kind of showed up with Rocky my resident raccoon who used to come visit while Carl was in Iraq. Carl took all except Rocky to the woods but I won't let him take my Rocky...cuz he is my friend!

A Few Reasons Passion
1. I have spent my entire adult life raising children that needed a mother anyway.
2. I don't really much care for kids
3. Stretch marks and sagging boob
4. Can't have em anyway, but never really felt like I missed out on much.
I love Pam with all that I have but I'll be glad when she is grown. Kittens are easier than kids.
