thanks muser, it was fun, and I am taking care of myself. You too.

mneme...after the week you had, a good t.v. show to get lost in was just
what you needed! Take care of yourself, please.

Hi Joe Love - I didn't exactly dislike it, nor did I like it particularly - funny in parts, but excruciating in parts too. For me it went downhill from the point of the wrestling scene in the hotel room.  I'd be the last person to suggest you have a warped sense of humour - if you do, so did the whole cinema audience.

Taps, how sweet. I was one of the daughters too,
just in the chorus. I wouldn't have married 'my' pirate - a complete mismatch, poor boy. He was 'a bit of a wet' in English grammar school vernacular, I felt quite sorry for him because he was also two inches shorter than me. Come to think of it, I was quite possibly sorry for myself too.

Ypunday,
thank you for the encouragement. Look after yourself too.

Lucinda, thanks for the thought, and I've commented. We seem to be a little at cross purposes, my point was more about "loud and vexacious persons," and a bit about aggression and intimidation.  I hate that feeling when you sense something is brewing, no matter what the source. More respect all round would help everyone. But a very important post, just the same. Thank you.

Glad ABC and Johnny Depp came through for you--no black holes ever!

Especially NOt when we have this:...early Merry Christams and Happy New Year wishes. Rest and go fight the good fight, next week. Take tommorrow off too. After all it's offical_ Sabbath.

You didn't like Borat??
I found that movie to be hilarious!  Then again, I have a warped sense of humor.

Ah, mneme, The Pirates of Penzance.  Son #3 was one.  In fact that's where he met his wife.  She was one of the fancy dressed daughters.  That summer of theater in the park lasted just a little too long and they ended up marrying a bit later.

Hi everyone - I really have had a roller-coaster of a week, and I will try to catch up with reading over the next few days. Have a nice Sunday.
