Comments like yours make me feel there is hope for me as a writer. One of the hardest things to invoke is that sense of "It's like I was there," or "I've been there and done that." You made my day.

Talk about a stroll down memory lane...
I was right there, in my houseful of kids, riding herd and assigning time-outs and threatening dire consequences like broccoli or spinach for supper. My life just went on hold for a decade and a half while I cooked, cleaned, did laundry, oversaw homework, met with teachers, followed Little League games, ran a cub scout den, and held onto a 40-hour-a-week paid job. Which is why I can so easily spend hours on Blogit these days. I've earned the respite. :)
