Professor Peabody is correct, blogflogger. This is Orwellian. But we're

no strangers to this, being either completely skeptical of the spin artists or completely fooled by them.  Oh, he didn't mean that; he meant this.  Works for all politicians.  Bush is an opportunist and a fool, and only the diehard Bushbots and Bobbleheads (my term for those dangerous yes-men) are fooled by the fool's foolish revisionists.  It is what it is; what it ain't is what they say it was.

Orwellian!

This administration is famous (or infamous) for "Newspeak".  How the President can, on national tv, claim that he never said something we all KNOW he said (Osama bin Laden? I don't give him much thought) is either an example ot denial or an attempt to re-write history.  Ironically, for many of the Bush-bots, it works.  When you hire "faux" White House correspondents (Geckert, the gay prostitute), pay for favorable press coverage (Armstrong Williams), and release phony "Video New Releases" to local news stations, how can you expect honesty from them?
