If this kid suffers from a chemical imbalance in his brain, this
incident might not be the kind of help that he needs.  Perhaps mental health officials could intervene.  I hope she consulted with whatever psychiatrist or whomever else he is seeing before she took this drastic step.

That is a sad thing to hear in the season of a giving time that was meant for so much more than this...but I do know how it is to depend on someone in the community to help with discipline..For me it was the asst. principal. Single parenting SUCKS!!!

I have known mother's who treatened to do this, but
this lady deserves a vote of confidence! Often, civil authority is the only authority a young man fears! Being locked in a cell seems to be one thing, which frightens him and I feel it is the thought of his freedom being taken away which is the real fear! Blessings! faholo

They also showed this story on TV last nite.
I hope all this media attn will help this family.
