Ditto Blair. He has to go but what are UK progressives seriously proposing to put in his place??

Tony, Blair has not been popular for his support of GW Bush for a while.

We supposedly live in democracies, yet when the leaders do not care and openly mock public opinion polls and are determined to "stay the course", regardless of the cost in lives and resources, they deserve to be ousted.

I am not advocating a Bush impeachment: Dick Cheney would be far worse.

Bush and Blair looked crestfallen at their joint press conference. Good.
They deserve to be. Neither of them has a clue when it comes to foreign policy. They are like rabbits blinded by the glare of the press cameras of world opinion and judgement. It has dawned on them. Blair, a relatively clever man, was possibly the stupider of the two in his foreign policy, because he just followed whatever Bush cooked up. Now that the rest of the USA is trying to reverse that policy, Blair is left looking ridiculous.
