I'm sick of it as well, Blanche, not because it is often a different
perspective or opinion, but because those opinions deal with patriotism, emotionalism, jingoisms, and religion -- not on reality, empirical data, or precedence. Even when they incorporate the latter, they cover it with the the former.

Keyword there, Saul: Scapegoat, also another good word: Denial
It's a strategy that has worked well for the Neocons, eg, the talking heads like O'Reilly and Limbaugh for years. It's obviously worked well here as we've seen on the blog, so they'll keep doing it as long as it works, I guess, which is what I'm sick of.

I agree, Blanche. What I can't understand is why conservatives have
chosen to view homosexuals as a threat when they are so relatively few. I guess, when all else fails, you got to find your scapegoat somewhere...
