I really never took much note of Pink floyd until the Wall. them I became obsessed with that CD and listened to it every day for two years. It was really untouchable as far as comparing anything else to it. Dark Side is the closest thing, but it has no global aspect, despite the line about the sun running around the earth trying to catch up to time.

PBS has a great Pink Floyd concert they show during pledge drives. I'd like to know who does thier lighting.
