I'd tell your therapist to MEET my mother and then tell me that. Opening anything with her is harmful to ME.
As for Korea? I've heard enough to say that it's not likely very good.

That is strange about missing your mother.
Perhaps, you should try to create an open dialogue. (I know that's what my therapist would say.)
What do soldiers do in Korea, btw?
