Rumsfeld's suggestion similar to Murtha's?

Hardly. Murtha wanted to redeploy to Okinawa. What better base for operations against terrorism in the middle east than a base halfway around the planet, on an island whose population has not been entirely welcoming of American military presence?

If Rumsfeld says, "You don't go to war with the Army you wish you had, but

with the one you have.", while he was driving around Baghdad with the best steel-plated armor on his vehicle, and mothers are raising bake sales to send thier sons body armor, because Halliburton won't pay for it, and still chariging $70 a meal on the US taxpayer's dime, I'd say let him rot in whatever hell he goes to from here.

He can fall off the face of the earth, go to some third-world shithole for all I care, F hm.

Changing parties

So, when did Rummy switch parties and become a "Defeatocrat"?  I hope he's not advocating that we "cut and run".  I also hope that he doesn't run for office as a Dem!

Don't you see? Carpe diem, Rumsfeld is out, the tide is turning, we have 24 months, I don't care  if you are Democrat, Republican or Martian, get involved, apathy is killing us, polarized diatribes are muddying the waters. Get involved, now is the time, Democracy: use it or lose it. When fact is fiction, we are lost.

Join a political group, discuss, analyze, think for yourselves,  Remember our Founding Fathers:  Patrick Henry, Francis Marion (my ancestor, The Swamp Fox), Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton (killed in a duel with Aaron Burr) were not meek and mild, politics were there lifesblood and they built this republic, for which our soldiers are dying.

DO SOMETHING, FOR GOD'S SAKE, OR I GIVE UP ON ALL OF YOU!!!
