You're so sweet to care, Maggie.
God will help me. I'm getting my license to inspect homes for VHA this week (hopefully) so I can start earning a decent living again.

I hope you'll be strong, Sexinthecity....
And stay away from the guy. It never ends well with married men. There's always alot of crying. and it's normally the woman shedding all the tears.

Damn....
Whereas my affair with the married guy didn't go that far, I never even touched the guy, I still feel your pain. And my own reawakening.

Maggie...of course I care what you think...
And Iagree with what you're saying. But I haven't had sex in a year, Maggie. I'm very lonely. I'm thinking of moving in with a guy I dont care about just so I won't have to live with Richard anymore.
Loneliness drives you to do things you wouldn't ordinarily do.

Passion, you don't have to become a lesbian or a nun. You can take care of your hornieness in the privacy of your bedroom. You are a very nice person with a lot of love in your heart. Some day Mr. Right will walk into your life if you are patient and willing to wait for him to come along. I personally think you are trying too hard and should slow down Maybe you don't care what I think, but I just told you anyway.

Thanks for sharing your views and experiences Mysteria.
I'm not doing much bettter myself. I'm really lonely and horney though. What's the alternative? Become a nun? A lesbian?
I've gotten cynical and angry which makes it much harder to find someone nice. I hope and pray that you'll find someone who will love you unconditionally.

Hi PasssH... I always wanted to be a magical mermaid love angel
You know just exist to make other people's life better. I am fully thinking of giving up on the idea of romantic love and going for sharing my goodness at a hospice or something. My relationships w/men have been so disappointing starting from my father on. I have had good friendships, but relationships have purt-neer killed me. And also I have seen many of my femme friends horribly hurt by romantic endeavors. What's the point I wonder? Who needs the torture? When I'm in a relationship, I can never find peace cause I am always worried that my BF will succumb to his primal urges and mess up. Monogamy is a joke. I shouldn't expect it. I wonder why I ever did.

SteelerFan....thanks
People tell me all those "Love-cliches" all the time. I think we all watch too many of those "Chick-Flicks". Not everyone has a happy ending.

Is that couple still together?
I would never date a married man. It's against my rules. Oh, and if I found out he was married, I'd kick him where it hurts and make his life miserable.

At least you now realize that wasn't the best decision to make...
and truly...it will not prevent you from finding true love...when you least expect it, you will find it, it may already be there waiting for you and you just may not realize it yet. It will happen for you, best of luck.

I didn't mean to either time. The frist one was an English Boeing engineer
he answered a personal ad, one of a few I put in The Stranger here. We dated for about a couple months before he told me he had a wife in England, it really tore me up for a while.
The second time, it wasn't so much an affair, so much as an intense atraction at work. We didn't do anything about it, but sure wanted to, he was my boss,I got quit/fired.

I know exactly how that feels Blanche...
After that affair, I never dated married men again though. It's painful to be sure.

Passionflower, nothing has ever torn my heart to shards of glass and left
a gaping, burning hole, like falling in love with a married man (twice). Nothing compares, it's hell. You did the right thing, and so did I, but it's hell.
