All those million-dollar gadgets, Drew, and they still can't account for
butterfly effect and the insistent unknown variable.  That's why I refuse to watch the weather channel.  What a waste of time.  I want to know what kind of day it is, I'll walk outside.  Hell, I'll just look out the window...

...funny, isn't it, that good furtune leads to waiting for the other shoe to drop.  We have been quite fortunate that Mother Nature took a year off from the dramatic tropical storms in the U.S. even after the prediction of certain doom coming into the hurricane season.  It just goes to show, the more we try to predict nature, the more we find ourselves wrong.
