- Go to The Penis Is The Dipstick Of Health, Says Harvard Physician Michael Roizen
Jacenta, I took the Real Age test, and found that I am 5 years older than
my chronological age. That needs to change, and when I get a moment to study the book and test, I'll start posting on this. Thanks for reading, I'd like some kindred spirits to embark on this program with. A journey of transformation.

Blanche...
So I don't confuse you, I'll put it another way, you quoted, "it's easy to have a real age of 8 to 12 years younger, harder to have one of 20 years, but doable." My real age comes out a few years older, not younger than my chronological age.

Yes, Blanche that is the way I understood it, also. I just typed in my search engine,
tickle.com real age test. It took me right to the test I previously took. Lifestyle is a variable factor in determining our real age, but hereditary is pretty much fixed. Yes, it would definitely be great if we could better our 'real age' by several years. It certainly can be done with the right life style. My real age is greater than my chronological age, because I am paying for not taking good enough care of my health in past years. With proper exercise and eating right I could better my real age even now. Really, it is never absolutely to late to better our health.

Katray, hey, sex sells! Who am I to blow against the wind, lol? Besides,
like I told ThomasFranklin, it works for me, too. I just object to the Victoria's Secret ads on tv, being passed off as as lingerie ads. They're more like Playboy. Remember when Jane Russell had to wear a sweater to model a Playtex bra on tv, for "full-figured women" LMAO.

Jacenta, I'd be interested in what you come up with. I am barely getting
started on this book just the first chapter. But I like Dr. Roizin's approach, and from what I understand of "calendar" age versus "real" age, calendar means my actual age, which is 46. Real age is a caldulation of lifestyle and genetic factors, so theoretically, as he says, it's easy to have a real age of 8 to 12 years younger, harder to have one of 20 years, but doable.
So, if I had a real age of 12 years younger, mine would be 34. Twenty years younger would be 26. Wouldn't that be sweet!

No Blanch. I took a test from in internet site, but right now I can't remember exactly what site. Anyway, it compared 'real age' to chronological age and its' results were taken from the answers given to a lot of questions they asked. It was interesting. I'm not exactly sure it's term 'real age' is comparable to the way your book refers to 'real age,' but it sounds like one in the same. If I happen to remember the name of the site, I'll tell you later, but if interested you could probably google, 'real age test' or some like terms. Take care Blanche.

When you said you took the test, does that mean you have it, too?

The book and the lecture are such a wealth of info, Jacenta, I can barely
absorb it all, but I figure since the show is a PBS fund-raiser it will be aired many times and I ordered the book the last time it was aired in March and have not picked it up since. The blog and the show will hopefully give me the motivation to focus on it, as I meant to. Thanks for the interest, I'll keep posting.

The book sounds interesting. There are things we can do to improve our 'real age'. I took the test and my 'real age' surpasses my chronological age in a negative sense. Interesting post, Blance. I hope to check back to see what else you have learned.

We should broadcast that fact, HolyGrail, it would kill McDonald's business
faster than E. Coli, lol. Professor Peabody and I are both 20 lb. overweight, but somehow my weight gets to be more of an issue. Hm.
But, sex is the fastest motivator I know of (for me, anyway, lol)

Odd fact of the day: Supposedly for every 35 pounds lost (to a point) a man gains one inch in penis size....
