I'm still debating on the wisdom (or folly??) of putting up a tree for the cats to climb and knock down. lol.

I am almost certain that you have met them, you just didn't recognize them.

Julia.

No, I guess I haven't. This is the first I've heard tell of this.

How's Julia?  I hope you are doing well.  It is very cold here, but I am thankful to have a warm home.  The pets, except the birds are all napping right now.  It is peaceful here, but I have to get going for work in a short while. We still haven't put up our big Christmas tree, but my hubby decorated the outside of the house and put a lighted Santa on our chimney.  He said, "I knew you would like it."  I think it is really cute.  Be safe Julia.

   until next time..........

it's good to be hungry for knowledge, and to be open minded to all possibilities, even those that might seem ridiculously impossible.

no, I wasn't speaking metaphorically.

I'm not sure how you got the subject of reincarnation from this post? I don't think the two are the same, i.e., one does not need to believe in reincarnation to believe in soul-less beings.

My old director came to mind this morning. He was practically emotionless. He laughed some. He was like an automaton. I would like to know if he really were one or not. Strange to think about.

No, I guess not. I'm just hungry for knowledge. This idea of others coming at specific times for specific purposes is very appealing to me. I know that no encounter is meaningless. It might be walk-ins for all I can remember!

Are you speaking metaphorically (soul-less beings = loneliness)? Or
do you really mean a being, like a human but without soul, and s/he would simply "disappear"? If speaking metaphorically, I agree with you, but if not, then... hm, interesting idea. I remember someone saying that they seriously believe that some "people" walking among us are actually aliens in disguise.

Hmm...I'm not sure what to think about reincarnation, Julia..interesting.

yes I have heard of that and know a little, though I remember the term used at the time was "walk in." Stand in actually makes more sense, though! lol.

I don't know that there's much more to tell about my dealings with Samuel, other than what I have already written about here. And I know you've read the posts. Is there a specific question you'd like me to address?

that's interesting. I always know when I meet someone from another time because there is instant familiarity, the "I feel like I've known you forever and we just met" feeling.

no. Samuel was an entity my then-best friend channeled a number of years ago; I haven't spoken with him for more than nine years.

Julia

I must ponder this awhile. I'm sure I've met a few, but if I ask to remember one in particular, it will come soon enough. This is fascinating stuff! You really should publish it.

I am also very interested in your conversations with Samuel, as far as your path, your experiences, and such. Nothing in detail, mind you.

Thanks so much for posting this. You've really got me thinking now.

I have read the book Strangers Among Us by Ruth Montgomery. She talks about 'stand-ins', or spirits who choose to incarnate at a pivotal point in certain individual's lives. Abraham Lincoln was said to have been reincarnated while still alive, in this manner. Have you read much on this?

My last paragraph is not too clear. She iterates in her book that a highly evolved spirit will step in at a pivotal point in a person's life. The person has appeared to have undergone a great transformation. In fact, his soul has withdrawn and made way for the higher spirit to enter. Very fascinating stuff.

I can't say as I have personally met anyone without a soul. I do know when I go to a calling hours for a deceased person I can see there is no longer any soul within. Also I know I have seen "old souls" and I can't explain it very well but I knew we knew each other on another plane or life time..Their soul was in their eyes..

Can't say as I've ever met a "soul-less" human being.  Sure... I've met people who project a soul that is tired, tarnished, or even numb but I can always see a glimmer and it's that glimmer I look for.  Is Samuel with you all the time?
