While I'm not what one would consider a Christian, I do respect your faith, and that of others. And I am glad that you and katray are around to show the ignorant and stubborn that the words "Christian" and "Liberal" are not mutually exclusive. I'm not sure when Jesus became a Republican!!

I believe in God too.
I always have. Churches are made by men, and have the flaws that come along with such a foundation, but it doesn't keep me from praying. I understand what you mean. I used to hate myself. I'd look in the mirror and all I'd see were the ugly things I had done. It was scary. Great post! Take care Blanche

Ariala and Faholo, Here's to fellow travelers and kindred spirits, fallen
angels and saints and sinners alike, one and the same.

Blanche, this was beautiful and a testament of truth, just like those who
wrote the Bible...they may have been only the words of men, but I believe they were inspired to continue the work of our Lord.
Thanks for sharing this important message and your personal experience with Christ.

Blanche your words are words of healing and servitude to
the Jesus who died for us all. Your honest appraisal of your own inadequacies will help others and free them to speak their truth in form. May the God of love continue to reveal His everlasting faithful and love to your grace filled heart! Blessings on you and yours!
