I have had my illusions of grandeur about influencing public policy, I'm
not that important. All I can do is to try to treat everyone as close to the same as possible, we are all God's children.  As for the politicians, well, that's in God's hands, too, and surely not in mine.  I do not have that kind of influence.

Blanche, We agree that dialogue is the answer. So the leaders have the res
ponsibility to start and continue the dialogue.  let us all take part:  top - down, bottom - up.

Kingmi, I think all any of us can do about racism is to keep an open mind
and try to relate to each individual person as an individual, showing them the same love and care and concern as any of us need.
